Bharata incarnation and its Correlation and Significance

भरत जी
भगवान राम के परम भक्त भरत जी को भगवान विष्णु के शंख का अवतार कहा जाता है।

• हमारे पुराणों में उल्लेख मिलता है कि शँख में सभी देवी देवताओं का वास होता है । भगवान विष्णु के निर्देशानुसर शँख के भीतरी भाग में चंद्र, सूर्य व वरुण देव वास करते है तथा जगत पावनी माँ गंगा और माँ सरस्वती शँख के बाह्य भाग में विराजती है । इसी प्रकार भरत जी के जीवन में भी सदैव प्रभु राम की भक्ति की अविरल धारा बहती रहती है। मानो समस्त संसार का प्रेम, पवित्रता व भक्ति आकर भरत रूपी सागर में मिल गयी हो ।
• प्रत्येक धार्मिक अनुष्ठान से पहले शँख बजाया जाता है । शँख की ध्वनि समस्त तामसिक शक्तियों का क्षय करती है व सात्विक शक्तियों को हमारे पूजा स्थान की तरफ़ खींचती है । साथ ही इस ध्वनि से वायु में फ़ैले ख़तरनाक विषाणु व कीटाणु भी नष्ट होते है व वातावरण शुद्ध हो जाता है । ठीक वैसे ही भरत जी का जीवन चरित्र परम पुनीत है और जिसका श्रवण मात्र मनुष्य जीवन के समस्त विकारों (काम, क्रोध, मद, लोभ, मोह और मत्सर) का अंत कर हमारे अंत: करण को प्रभु राम की भक्ति की और अग्रसर करता है ।
• शँख का माता लक्ष्मी से भी विशेष सम्बंध है और यह धन देवता कुबेर का भी सूचक माना जाता है । समुंदर मंथन के समय पहले शँख का प्रादुर्भाव हुआ था, तब उसके पश्चात माता लक्ष्मी का आगमन हुआ था । भगवान राम के राज्याभिषेक से पहले भी अयोध्या को भरत जी सुशासन का सोभाग्य मिला था और वास्तविकता में भरत जी के १४ वर्ष के शासन ने ही अद्वितीय व स्वर्णिम राम राज्य की नींव रखी थी ।

Bharat – The most pious character and the real unsung hero of Ramayana, is the incarnation of Shankha (Conch) of Lord Vishnu.

• According to Puranas, The deities Moon, Sun and Varun are commanded by Lord Vishnu to be present at the base of Shankha. While the pious Ganga and Saraswati are present in the front portion of the Sankha. Correspondingly, Bharata character is considered as abode of prime devotion (Aviral Bhakti ka Sagar) for Lord Rama as if all the love, sanctity and devotion of whole world has gathered in Bharat Ji.
• When Shankha is blown before the start of Puja and Aarti, the positive vibes and energy emitted from the shankha reduces the distressing frequencies and attracts the divine vibes or Satvik energy towards the ritual place and kills the disease causing germs thereby creating a pure and pious atmosphere. In the same fashion, the conduct of Bharat Ji is very auspicious which removes all the flaws / Avgun of human character namely desires, ager, ego, greed, attachment and jealousy and enlighten the human mind with true love and devotion for the lord Rama.
• Sankha is also associated with Goddess Lakshmi and is also considered as a symbol of lord Kubera – the God of Wealth. During Samundar Manthan, first sankha appeared and then it was followed by Devi lakshmi. Correspondingly, it was Bharata who reigned Ayodhya for 14 years during Rama exile and laid the foundation of the examplry Ram-Raj.
